The Belated Welcome...

So if you're here, you've already seen a few reviews an editorial and our first article, but I just wanted to introduce our blog to you officially.

VisualCrack is an offshoot of our sister site Absolutely Random, the reason we are here is that we felt the need for a site that allowed us to talk more and be focussed primarily on genre movies (horror, sci-fi, cult, psychotronic... you get the idea!). So with that said, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you and tell you what we have coming up as we head into 2010...

Editorials galore... basically things that bug us, excite us or just plain straight-out confuse the hell out of us... expect these to rambling and extensive, we'd love to apologise, but then again we like a good verbal ruck every now and then, so bring it on...

Articles... what can you expect, well let me give you a few of the cryptic titles to ponder over...

  • Praying at the Altar of Argento
  • Zapping the British Bs
  • Dick Smith Killed my First True Love
  • The WiP and the Stethoscope
  • Ninja Surfer Zombie Beach Party
  • Killing With Pixels

Hopefully that's enough to keep you on your toes, in fact, if anyone can guess the real subject matter of any of these articles drop us an email at VisualCrack666@gmail.com and we'll dig out some cool prizes for the one who get's closest to all six :)

And finally the all important reviews... following our first official article we are going to bring in a special review section called French Horror Weekly, where we take some of the films discussed (or not) in the French Horror Cinema article and review the proverbial Gallic arse off them :)

You can expect a mix of old, new, borrowed (and maybe even the occasional blue, if it's a classic with some merit!!) but you can guarantee all of the reviews will be honest, and all of them will be about genre movies, no pansy assed rom-coms here, this is a drama-free zone... so sit back, bookmark us, and please, Please, PLEASE take part by commenting, we love to hear other peoples opinions and they mean more to us than the stuff we write ourselves....

see you in the cheap seats and most definitely in the dark ... snick
